Project Brief

The proposed Wonder Tram London (WTL) is located in the London Borough of Southwark (LBS). Most of the roads that the tram will operate on are managed by Transport For London(TFL) have offered, together with The Wonder Team, to spearhead a joint effort to gain the necessary planning permits. The Wonder team have to date provided TFL with more 1,200 pages of reports. LBS planning department will support decisions made by TFL.

What is Needed to Raise

WTL is looking to raise £700K-£800K ($945K-$1M) seed funding to complete the final reports, modelling of the route, planning application fees including public consultation at key locations along the route. We have lenders that have in agreed in principal to fund for the complete build-out of the tram system once permits are obtained!

Details

The headline breakdown costs are as follows, we have been advised the full modelling of all of the key junctions with cost £150K subject to TFL agreeing the modelling, Road Safety Audit £30K, Planning application £150K, Environmental statement £25K, Public consultation £100K, TFL fee £50K, 20% VAT plus a reasonable contingency.

We will require approximately 6 months for public consultation. The planning application will be in the form of a Planning Performance Agreement. This allows all parties to set agreed dates to provide information requested and in the case of the WTL, we would allow 1 year to determine the application.

Crowd Funding Investment Goals

Future Equity (SAFE) with a Revenue Share. The revenue share opportunity offers an investor a portion of the 20% net revenues every quarter – until you earn 2X your initial investment. The SAFE can eventually give earliest investors equity in your company, if you raise a priced round from a venture capitalist or other major investor. $10,000,000 valuation cap. Minimum Raise $50,000 – Maximum Raise $5,000,000.
