About Wonder Tram London
The Route
We are looking to build a much needed 5.2km Wonder Tram route in the Southwark area of London, UK. A North – South route, between London Bridge and Denmark Hill. The end-to end journey will take 20 minutes and serve major hospitals.
Wonder Tram London – Southwark, will emit no pollution in operation. Electrically powered, our trams are quiet, with an exceptionally low noise level of under 60dBA which is about half that of buses. People love trams! We believe as in survey after survey shows, passengers want trams, they are cleaner, feel safer and are good for the environment and are overall better value than buses, paid ride-sharing and cars. Boarding a tram is easy, offering safe and fast level boarding for all passengers, including those with wheelchairs or buggies.
